Meet the Founder
My name is Misa Gjone, the founder of Femin Magazine. I am a Vietnamese woman who was born and raised in the South of Vietnam and moved to Sweden to persuade my Master’s Degree in Communication in 2014. I met my now husband in 2015 and moved to Norway for him in the same year.
I became the mother of our first baby girl in early 2017, then our energetic boy in 2018, and a little cutie pie in 2021. Life has changed a lot since I became a mother but I feel so lucky because I can do what I love and at the same time, be able to take care of my kids at home. I am so grateful for that.
“I want to create a space for women to feel inspired”
I created Femin Magazine because I want to create a space for women to feel inspired, share their stories, and be supported by others. We live in a time when women are becoming more powerful than ever before, and I believe that it’s important for us to lift each other up and help each other reach our goals. I truly believe that every woman has the power to change her life and make a positive impact on the world.
Femin Magazine has been my baby since 2020, and I am so proud of what it has become. I am grateful to the amazing team of writers, designers, and my VA who have worked tirelessly to bring this magazine to life. I am also grateful to our wonderful readers for your support. Thank you for being a part of our community!
